Monday Funeral Held for Victims of Fire Joint services were held Monday morning at the Ord Catholic Church for Albert J. Ptacnik, 74, and James Petska, Jr., 69, who died of asphyxiation Friday. James Petska Jr. James Petska Jr., was born Mar. 25, 1894, in Ord to James Petska Sr., and Anna Ptacnik Petska. He married Josephine Novotny in 1916. As a young man he attended the St. Paul Business College and he was employed by the First National Bank of Ord for over 30 years, retiring six years ago. He was a member of the Ord Catholic Church. Surviving are his mother, Mrs. Anna Petska of Elyria; one daughter, Mrs. Margaret Edwards of Ord, three brothers, John and William of Ord and Joseph of Elyria; two sisters, Mrs. Emma Kordik of Pocahontas, Ia., and Mrs. Ann Puncochar of Grand Island; three grandchildren, Terrie, Tom and Trudi.
