Married Vaclav Mazanec (marriage license dated January 2, 1878, Butler County, Nebr.). '''''''''''''''''''''''''''' Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), October 16, 1913, p. 8, col. 4 Bruno Mrs. James Mazanec, who recently underwent a surgical operation in the Prague hospital, died there Monday morning. Mrs. Mazanec had suffered illness of several months duration. She is survived by three daughters and one son. The body was brought here Monday. Rev. Father Zalud conducted the funeral services Wednesday morning. Interment was in the Catholic cemetery. The sympathy of this community is extended to the bereaved.
