Funeral services for Mary Ann Carrell, 78, of Longview, will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 20, 2012, at the chapel of Rader Funeral Home of Longview. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Carrell passed away Tuesday morning at a local hospital. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. today, September 19, 2012, at the funeral home. Mary Ann was born September 19, 1933, in Como, Texas, to Gilbert and Lilly Henley Martin. She loved to wear her hair big with big earrings to match her big hugs, big laugh and even bigger heart. She will be deeply missed by her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Eugene Carrell; her son, Lloyd Wayne Carrell; five brothers and one sister. Those left to cherish her memory are her two sons, Mike Carrell and David Carrell, both of Longview; two sisters-in-law, Virginia Martin of Sulphur Springs and Patsy Martin of Dallas; 19 nieces and nephews; and numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great nephews.
