Final rites for Mrs. Gilbert N. Martin (Lillie Dale Henley), who was killed instantly in a two-car collision at the intersection of Highway 67 and Farm-to-Market 1870 Tuesday morning, will be held at North Hopkins Baptist Church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. T.R. Hawkins, assisted by the Rev. Bill Gilmore, officiating. Interment will be at North Hopkins Cemetery under the direction of Tapp Funeral Home. Mrs. Martin was fatally injured in an accident which hospitalized her husband and a Keene man, Lewis Sandefur, at 10:45 a.m. Tuesday. Mrs. Martin sustained severe head injuries in the accident and was listed as being in "critical" condition at Memorial Hospital at noon Wednesday. Sandefur sustained chest injuries and was listed as being in"fair" condition at the hospital. Mrs. Martin, a 58 year old native of Hopkins County was born March 7, 1901. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James P. Henley. She was a member of the Martin Springs Baptist Church. Mrs. Martin is survived by her husband, Gilbert N. Martin of Sulphur Springs; five sons, Jack Martin and Merle Martin, both of Dallas, James Martin of California, Earl W. Martin of Houston and Frankie Gene Martin of Sulphur Springs; two daughters, Mrs. Erma Lyle and Mrs. Mary Ann Carroll, both of Sulphur Springs; two brothers, J.P.
