Bio

GENE CARRELL Services for Gene Carrell, 57, of Longview, Texas were held in the Rader Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Bobby Blaylock officiating. Burial was in the Lakeview Cemetery. Mr. Carrell died on February 16, 1985 after a lengthy illness. Mr. Carrell had lived in Longview 20 years, having moved here from Sulphur Springs. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann (Martin) Carrell of Longview; three sons, Mike Carrell, David Carrell and Lloyd Carrell, all of Longview; three brothers H.L. Carrell and Gilbert Carrell, both of Dallas, and Kenneth Carrell of Longview; two sisters, Venita Summers and Romanda Jones, both of Duncanville; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
