'''''''' The Banner-Press , July 9, 1959, p. 3, col. 5 Mrs. Margaret Haney Dies In Omaha June 30, Services Held Here July 3 Funeral services were held Friday, July 3, at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in David City for Mrs. Margaret Haney, 82. She died June 30 at the Clarkson Hospital, Omaha, after an illness of three weeks. Father George Stoeckinger officiated at the services and music was by the St. Mary's choir. Pallbearers were John Mulgrue, Clete Haney, Lester Jones, Dean Harris, Bill Beebe and Paul Duren. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Haney, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Mulgrue was born July 20, 1877 at Bloomington, Ill. In 1895 she came with her parents to Butler County, where they resided on a farm near David City. September 30, 1903, she was married to James Haney. Two daughters were born to them. She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter, Leta. Survivors are her daughter, Mrs. Ben Parolek of Fremont, her brother, Bernie Mulgrue of David City and one grandson Bernard Parolek, Fremont.
