Bellwood Gazette (Bellwood, Nebr.), April 22, 1898, p. 1, col. 3 Mrs. John Mulgrue of Alexis township who has been ill with cancer of the stomach for several months, died on Saturday last. She was about 40 years of age and leaves behind her a husband and several small children. Her funeral was held on Sunday at St. Joseph's Catholic church, Father Stapf officiating. ____________ Butler County Press (David City, Nebr.), April 22, 1898, p. 5, col. 3 Mrs. John Mulgrove, who lived five miles west of Bellwood, died last Saturday and was buried Monday of this week, in the Catholic cemetery down in Center. We were not able to learn full particulars. ____________ People's Banner (David City, Nebr.), April 22, 1898, p. 1, col. 4 Mrs. John Mulgrue died last Friday at her home five miles west of Bellwood. The funeral took place at the Center Catholic church Monday, Rev. Father Lutz conducting the funeral services. Mr. and Mrs. Mulgrue were former residents of Center township.
