Wayne County Outlook 23 Jan 1991 Earnest Chester Hancock, age 59, passed away on January 5, 1991 at the Willowbrook Manor Nursing Home in Clarksville, Indiana. He was born April 23, 1931 as the son of Dent and Pearl Hancock. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; Arvel, Marvin and Willie and two sisters; Myrtie Ballenger and Bonnie Hancock. Survivors include one son, Rodney Hancock of Huntington, Indiana; three brothers, Hubert Hancock and Vasco Hancock, both of New Castle, Indiana and Robert Hancock of Lawrenceberg, Kentucky; one sister, Doshie Hancock of Monticello and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held January 8 , 1991 at 1:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Corbet Hicks officiating. Burial was in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Sunnybrook. Marvin S. Hicks Funeral Home in charge of those arrangements.
