Wayne County Outlook Monticello, Kentucky 6 Jun 1990 Myrtie Ballenger, age 73, of New Castle, Indiana, passed away Saturday morning at New Castle Healthcare Center. She was born in Monticello, Kentucky, a daughter of Dent and Pearl Rigney Hancock. She was a member of the Salvation Army. Survivors include her husband, Hulbert Ballenger; five daughters, Charlotte Chick, Doshia Mae Twitty, Anna Guffey, Marlene Jessup and Marlene Orcutt; two sons, Williams and Esco; a sister, Doshia Hancock; four brothers, Hubert, Basco, Chester and Robert. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Edna; a sister, Bonnie; and three brothers, Arville, Marvin and Willie. Funeral services were held Tuesday with burial in the Green Hills Memory Gardens.
