Doshie Velma Hancock Visitation Wednesday from 5 to 9 Memorial 1PM Thursday in the Funeral Home Chapel Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery Born August 12, 1921 Died July 23, 2012 Doshie Velma Hancock, age 90 was born in Clinton County on August 12, 1921 the daughter of the late Dent and Pearl Rigney Hancock. She departed this life Monday, July 23rd at the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital after an extended illness. She is survived by two sons: Kenneth Hancock and Billy Hancock both of Wayne County. Also surviving are grandchildren: Lonnie Hancock; Lynetta Crabtree and Lorie West; Jeremy; Casey and Aaron Rector; Great Grandchildren: Lynsey and Emily Crabtree; Kendall and Kolton Jones; Campbell Rylan and Emma Grace Rector; and her brothers: Robert and Vasco Hancock. Preceding her in death is her sister: Mertie Ballinger; and brothers: Arvil; Marvin; Willie; Hubert and Chester Hancock and an infant sister: Bonnie Hancock As a young lady she accepted Christ as her Savior and became a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and later moved her membership to the Steubenville Baptist Church.
