''''''''''''''''''''' The Banner-Press (David City, Nebr.), August 30, 1962, p. 2, col. 3 Funeral Services Held For Mrs. Anna Kobza Funeral services were conducted at Assumption Church in Dwight, Friday, Aug. 10, for a native of Butler county, Mrs. Anna Stazie Kobza, 84, who died August 7 at the David City Hospital after a short illness. The Rev. Clarence Reisdorff was celebrant of the Requiem High Mass, with the Rev. Edward Orzechowski of Aurora present in the sanctuary. Members of the Rosary Society of which Mrs. Kobza was affiliated were present in a body. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Shonka, she was born July 12, 1878, near Abie, and she resided in Butler county all of her life. Preceding her in death were her husband, Joseph Kobza, and two sons, Joe and Val. She is survived by two sons and two daughters, Frank Kobza of Ulysses, Sylvester Kobza of Shelby, Mrs. Wm. (Mary) Bartek of Lincoln, and Mrs. Joseph (Ann) Makovicka of Ulysses; 25 grand children; 21 great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. John Miller of South Gate, Calif., and Mrs. Louis Trojan of Elsie; and a brother, Jerry Shonka of California.
