Julius C. Perkins Funeral services for Mr. Julius C. Perkins will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 in the Rush Chapel, Oakdale with Reverend Tony Robinson officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhill Cemetery, Oakdale under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mr. Perkins, 68, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Sunday, October 21, 2007, in his residence. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Louanna Perkins, two brothers, Glen Perkins and twin brother Vernon Lester Perkins, and one sister, Lillian Perkins. Survivors include his loving wife of fifty years, Nola Faye Perkins of Oakdale; two sons, Charles Lester Perkins of Pitkin and Floyd Ray Perkins of Woodworth; one daughter, Judy Gale Perkins Funck of DeRidder; two brothers, Jake Perkins of Pitkin and Frederick Perkins of Oakdale; three sisters, Ruby Haymon of Oakdale, Beatrice Clark of Oakdale and Gracie Johnson of Oakdale; five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Honored to serve as pallbearers; Justin Perkins, David Perkins, Julian Thompson, Charles Perkins, Jr., Vernon Perkins, Jr. and John Taylor with three serving as honorary pallbearers; Mason Perkins, Ronnie Clark and Michael Shane Johnson. Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale on Monday October 22, 2007 from 11:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m. then on Tuesday, October 23, 2007 from 8:00 a.m. until time of service at 10:00 a.m. in the Rush Chapel.
