Beatrice (Perkins) Clark June 11, 1935 - January 30, 2024 Funeral services for Mrs. Beatrice (Perkins) Clark will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2, 2024, at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Oakdale, with Reverends Jason Townley and Troy Doyle officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhill Cemetery, Oakdale, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mrs. Beatrice Clark, 88, of Oakdale, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on January 30, 2024. She found her rest with her loving family by her side at Allen Oaks Nursing Home, Oakdale, LA. She was a long-time member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. Her love for the Lord shined bright and she considered herself blessed. Beatrice was a selfless mother, devoted grandmother, and nurturing great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Waiting for her arrival at the Pearly Gates was her beloved husband of forty-nine years, Clyde Clark; one son; her parents; three sisters; and five brothers. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include one daughter, Neecie Plumlee, and husband Damin, of Oakdale; two sons, Ronnie Clark, and wife Tricia, of Oakdale, and Roger Clark, Sr. of Turkey Creek; nine grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren. A time of visitation will be held at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Thursday, February 1, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Visitation will resume at Emmanuel Baptist Church, Oakdale, on Friday, February 2, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. until time of service. Honored to serve as pallbearers are: Austin James, Justin James, Jeb Moore, Cody Thomas, Charlie Middlebrooks, and Michael Shane Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Caden Moore, Ryder Cormier, Emerick Cormier, Daylon James, and Clark Moore. www.rushfh.com
