Funeral services for Mrs. Gracie Lee Johnson will be held at 3:00 pm on Sunday, September 4, 2022, in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, with Reverend Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery, Oakdale under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mrs. Johnson, 81, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Friday, September 2, 2022 in her residence surrounded by her loving family. Gracie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her She is preceded in death by her parents, Monroe and Louanna Perkins; her husband, Mervin Johnson; five brothers, Vernon Perkins, Julius Perkins, JP Perkins, Glen Perkins and Freddy Perkins; two sisters, Lillian Perkins and Ruby Haymon and son-in-law, David Vansworth. Those left to mourn her loss and cherish her memory include two daughters, Diane Ware and her husband, Jeff of Oakdale and Delores Vansworth of Oakdale; one sister, Beatrice Clark; four grandchildren, Michael Shane Johnson, Misty McGee, Hope Sonnier and Ashley Rubel; eight great grandchildren, Caden, Ridge, Gabbie, Kadie Grace, Connor, Christian, Elijah and Reagan and her best friend, Helen Faye McDaniel. A time of visitation will be held in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Sunday, September 4, 2022, from 12:00 pm until time of service. www.rushfh.com
