Funeral services for Mr. Freddie Perkins will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2018 in the Chapel of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale with Reverends Bill Smith and Greg Willis officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhill Cemetery, Oakdale, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale. Mr. Perkins, 74, of Oakdale, entered eternal rest on Friday, May 18, 2018 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, LA. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe and Louanna Perkins; four brothers, Vernon Perkins, Julius Perkins, Glenn Perkins and J.P. Perkins and one sister, Lillian Perkins. Those left to mourn his loss and cherish his memory include his “baby girl”, Kasey Perkins, of Pitkin and three sisters, Beatrice Clark, of Oakdale, Gracie Johnson, of Oakdale and Ruby Haymon, of Oberlin. Friends may call at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, on Monday, May 21, 2018, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
