Fort Bend Herald, Thursday, July 20, 2012: A graveside service for Doris E. Graeber, 80, of Rosenberg, Texas, will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Monday, July 23, 2012, in the State Room of Davis-Greenlawn Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Doris was born January 18, 1932 in Brenham to John and Matilda (Schneider) Loesch. Being outdoors and keeping her yard, home, and vehicles immaculate made her very happy. Doris passed away July 19, 2012 at the S.P.J.S.T. Rest Home in Needville. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Matilda Loesch; sisters, Laura Harbes and Sadie Zikuhr; and brothers, Clarence Loesch and Elroy Loesch. Doris is survived by her husband of 59 years, Adolph Graeber, Jr.; son, Michael Graeber and wife, Beverly; daughter, Tammy Schooley and husband, Jason; grandchildren, Brittney Graeber, Heather Graeber, Justin Graeber, Madelyn Schooley, and Daniel Schooley; great-grandson, Nikolai (Niko) Graeber; brothers, Earl Loesch and wife, Cindy and Melvin Loesch; and sister, Johnnie Mae Mueth; along with other relatives and friends. Pallbearers serving are Vernon Skotnik, Tommie Eckelberg, Justin Graeber, Clifford Harbes, Larry Loesch, and Delayne Rosenbaum. Honorary pallbearers will be Brittney Graeber, Heather Graeber, Madelyn Schooley, Daniel Schooley, and Niko Graeber. The family would like to extend their appreciation to the staff of Houston Hospice for all of the care and support given to Doris.
