Herald Coaster, July 4, 2002: Funeral services for Laura Loesch Harbes, 78, of Rosenberg, are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday, July 5, at the Chapel of Garmany & Carden Funeral Home, 1201 Fourth St. in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Jim McConnell officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Visitation for friends will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, July 4. Mrs. Harbes passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2002, at West Houston Medical Center in Houston. She was born Jan. 26, 1924 in Brenham to parents, John and Matilda Schneider Loesch. She is survived by her sons, Clifford Harbes and his wife, Corrine, Howard Harbes and his wife, Patricia, and Gary Harbes and his wife, Lynette; her grandchildren, Tracy Harbes and his wife, Paige Pittman, Jerod Harbes, Collette Trail and her husband, Russell, and Brandy Harbes; her great-grandchildren, Jordan and Avery Trail; her sisters, Saddie Zekuhr, Doris Graeber and her husband, Adolph Jr., and Johnnie Mae Meuth; her brothers, Melvin Loesch and his wife, Joyce, Earl Loesch and his wife, Cindy, Elroy Loesch, and Clarence Loesch; and numerous other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Harbes. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
