Herald Coaster, June 21, 2004: Grave side services for Elroy Loesch, age 76, of Rosenberg are scheduled for 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, June 22, 2004, at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Rosenberg, with the Rev. Dr. Dale Staggemeier officiating. Visitation time for friends will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, and 8 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Garmany and Carden Funeral Home in Rosenberg. Larry and Kevin Loesch, Howard and Gary Harbes, Michael Graeber and Kenneth Meuth will serve as pallbearers. Born July 24, 1927 in Brenham to parents John and Matilda Schneider Loesch, Elroy died Sunday, June 20, 2004, at Methodist Hospital in Houston. He worked for Schult's Equipment for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Matilda Loesch, and sister, Laura Harbes. He is survived by three sisters, Sadie Zikuhr of Damon, Doris Graeber and her husband, Adolph Graeber Jr., of Rosenberg, Johnnie Mae Meuth of Conroe; three brothers, Melvin Loesch and his wife, Joyce, Clarence Loesch, and Earl Loesch and his wife, Cindy, all of Rosenberg; and numerous nieces and nephews. Elroy is loved and appreciated for dedicating his to taking care of his brother, Clarence. Memorial gifts may be made to the Needville United Methodist Church Youth Building Fund, 8602 Church St., Needville, and to St. John's United Church of Christ Building Fund, 1513 West St., Rosenberg, 77471.
