Fort Bend Herald, September 7, 2021: Earl Loesch, 81, passed away September 4, 2021 at his home in Rosenberg. He was born April 16, 1940 in Richmond to John and Matilda Loesch. Earl was a member of the Needville United Methodist Church and worked as a heavy equipment operator until his retirement. A quiet man, Earl loved being outside, whether it be working in the yard or sitting on the patio with his dogs. The only thing he loved more was spending time with his wife and family. Earl worked at Bennett International for 28 years and retired from Fort Bend County Drainage District after 15 years of service. Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Cindy; daughters, Jenna Loesch of Houston, Karen Westerfield and husband, Danny, of Groveton, and Cindy Carrico and husband, Jeremy, of Groveton; 4 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; 3 brothers, Elroy, Melvin, and Clarence Loesch; 4 sisters, Sadie Zikuhr, Lara Harbes, Doris Graeber, and Johnnie Mae Meuth. Much gratitude goes to El Campo office of Houston Hospice for their time, care and devotion to making Earl's last few months as comfortable as possible. Special thanks to his nurse, Allison, for her genuine concern and loving care. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or Needville United Methodist Church. We ask those in attendance to practice social distancing and facial coverings are recommended. Graveside services will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 10:00 A.M. in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
