Parents - John and Mary (Hamouz) Elznic. FRANK ELZNIC Frank Elznic was born in Trtice, Czechoslovakia, March 14, 1863. He came to this country in 1879 at the age of sixteen, making Humboldt, Neb. his home until 1891, when he moved to Milligan. September 9, 1893, he was united in marriage to Miss Mary Bartu, and to this union were born thirteen children. He leaves to mourn his untimely death his wife, sons Frank, Anton, William, James and Louis; daughters Mrs. Anna Stofer, Mrs. Mamie Cudly, Mrs. Georgia Volte, Mrs. Alyce Fussell and Emily, Mildred and Agnes; also 18 grandchildren. One son, Joseph, preceded him in death. He is also survived by three sisters and other relatives in Czechoslovakia. Since 1891, he devoted his time to farming in Saline and Fillmore counties. He had been ill only a few days. He died at his home at 8:30 Saturday evening, June 12, 1937, ath the age of 74 years, 2 months, and 29 days. At the time of his death, he was a member of the Katolicky Delnik, having held an office in that organization for thirty years.
