Died 1 a.m. Wednesday, June 22, 1988, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 82, and a native of Amite County, Mississippi. He was a retired East Baton Rouge Parish employee and a Coast Guard veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., after 9 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Thursday, conducted by the Rev. James Nichols. Burial in Roselawn Memorial Park. Survived by wife, Hattie Mae McGehee, Baton Rouge; a stepdaughter, Johnnie Onstead, Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mrs. B.M. Robeau, New Orleans, and Mrs. Janie Jones, Baton Rouge; numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by three sisters, Mrs. J.E. Hewitt, Mrs. J.A. Crawford and Mrs. W.H. Adams.
