Bio
Last rites will be observed this afternoon for Mrs. L. C. McGehee, 78, who died Sunday night at the McComb infirmary in McComb, Miss. Services will be held in the Hartman funeral home in McComb with burial to follow in the McComb city cemetery. The former Mattie Amanda Beeall [sic Beall], Mrs. McGehee was a native of Amite county, Miss. She is survived by five daughters, Mrs. W. H. Adams of Baton Rouge, Mrs. A. W. Jones of Zachary, Mrs. B. M. Robeau of New Orleans, Mrs. J. A. Crawford of Lake Charles, and Mrs. J. E. Hewitt of Summit, Miss.; one son, T. L. McGehee of Baton Rouge; one brother, Thomas Beall of Pine Bluff, Ark.; one sister, Mrs. Wiley Jenkins of Liberty, Miss.; 13 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
