Herald Coaster, April 4, 1972: Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville for Mrs. Hattie Vacek, 83, a Needville resident who died Monday night in Polly Ryon Hospital after a lengthy illness. KJZT rosary will be recited at 6:30 tonight, followed by a parish rosary at 7:30 at the Triska Chapel in Needville. Burial will be Wednesday in the St. Michael Cemetery. Survivors include her husband, Joe; four daughters, Mrs. Raymond Vacek and Mrs. Alma Sabrsula, both of Fairchilds, Mrs. Frank Bienek and Mrs. Jerry Kaderka, both of Needville; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
