Fort Bend Herald, May 21, 2008: Estelle Emily Kaderka, 82, born in Fairchild, our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went to her eternal rest on Monday, May 19, 2008. Estelle has been a resident of the Needville S.P.J.S.T. Nursing Home since January 2000. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church, the K.J.Z.T, the Altar Society, and for 48 years she was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary. Estelle is preceded in death by her parents, Joe B. and Hattie (Cernosek) Vacek; infant daughters, Joyce Ann Kaderka and Theresa Lynn Kaderka; sisters, Monica Vacek, Alma Sabrsula, Betty Bienek; and brothers, Pete and Alphonse Vacek. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry; sons, Thomas Kaderka and wife, Carol, James Kaderka and wife, Judy; daughter, Geradette Buzek and husband, Francis; grandchildren, Vanessa Rodriguez and husband, James, Tracey Weathers and husband, Frank, Brandon Kaderka, Bradley, Bryan, and Brent Buzek; step-grandchildren, Reniell Gay and fiancée, Robert Carney, and Hillary Gay; great-grandchildren, Victoria and Ava Rodriguez; step great-grandchildren, Peter and Brandon Rodriguez, Colby Gay, and Hayden Carney; brother-in-law, Frank Bienek; sisters-in-law, Evelyn Powitzky and husband, Robert, Bertha Hruby; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. A mass will be held at 11:00 A. M. Thursday, May 22, 2008, at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Needville, with interment following in St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery in Needville. Father Dan Warden will officiate the services. Visitation will be held 5:00 P. M. until 8:30 P. M., with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 P. M., Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Pallbearers will be Brandon Kaderka, Bradley, Bryan and Brent Buzek, Albert Sabrsula, Jr., and Kevin Nichols. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Estelle to St. Michael's Youth Ministry Scholarship Fund, checks made payable to St. Michael's Catholic Church, P. O. Box 95, Needville, 77461. Estelle's family would like to express thanks to Father James Ramsey for his many prayers and visits throughout the years. Also, to those staff members of the S.P.J.S.T. #2 nursing home who not only saw Estelle as a patient, but as a friend, especially Vera, Dorothy, Rosie, Sharon, Margie, and nurse, Karen Rieger. A very special thank you to Mr. Joe Hochman and Rev. Don Storey of Houston-Hospice-El Campo. Your kindness, gentleness and compassion towards Estelle and her family will always be remembered.
