Eva James Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Thompson James, 82, of Cravens will be held at 11 a.m. today, Nov. 14, 2002 in the Glade Branch Baptist Church in Cravens with the Revs. Arlen Smith and Russell Devore officiating. Burial will follow in the Drakes Fork Cemetery near Cravens under the direction of the Labby Memorial Funeral Home of DeRidder. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of service today in the church. Mrs. James died Monday, Nov. 11, 2002 in her residence. She was a native and lifelong resident of Cravens and a homemaker. She was a charter member of the Glade Branch Baptist Church. Survivors include two daughters, Pauline McLendon of Birmingham, Ala., and June Vinson of Bossier City; four brothers, Henry Edward Thompson of Conway, Ark., Gilbert Thompson of Cravens, Roy Thompson of DeRidder and Leo Thompson of Lake Charles; one sister, Elnora Blankenship of Cravens; six grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
