Lillie Etta Hudec daughter of Joseph J. and Emilie Hudec. _____________________ Lillie Hudec Funeral Services Held June 6 Lillie Etta Hudec,79,of Houston,returned to her loving Lord on June 3.Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday,June 6 at Christ the King Catholic Church. She was the ninth child born to Joe J. and Amelia Hudec of Weimar on June 6,1926. Lillie spent 38 years working in Houston at Nabisco then retired in 1988. Miss Hudec was a faithful parishioner of Christ the King Catholic Church for over 55 years where she volunteered regularly and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society and Catholic Daughters. During her lifetime she enjoyed baking,gardening and sewing.She was known for her sense of humor,steadfast faith and genuine love and concern for others. Her life was an example of simplicity and truly unselfish love and she will be warmly remembered by her family and friends to whom she was a constant support. Lillie will be missed by her many lifelong neighbors,dear friends and family.All who knew her realize her life was spent seeking God's heavenly kingdom.After a valiant fight against cancer,she is at peace. Pallbearers were nephews,Bob and Gene Chovanec,Mark and John Hudec,Alfons and Paul Hudec. Honorary Pallbearers were Michael and Zac Armstrong,Stormy Dowling,Karl Fischer,Bruce Moffett and Cory Watts.
