Johnnie Hudec son of Joseph J. and Emilie Hudec. ______________________ JOHNNIE HUDEC IS CLAIMED BY DEATH Johnnie Hudec passed away in San Antonio Saturday evening,after a long illness,at the age of 23 years,3 months and 25 days.He had been under treatment in San Antonio the past two years. Funeral arrangements were made and the body,was brought to Weimar Sunday on the 6:25 p.m. train,accompanied by his father,Mr.J.J. Hudec,and taken to his home.Funeral services were conducted at St. Michael's Church,and he was laid to rest in St. Michael's cemetery Monday morning at 10 o'clock,Rev.Szymanski having charge of the services. Johnnie attended St. Michael's and Wildwood schools.During the year 1919 he was stricken with influenza,from which he never fully recovered. Active pall bearers were:Edward Layne Rabb,Victor Janecka,Steve Rabel,Fred Berger,Richard Freis and Bennie Rerich.The flower girls were:Misses Millie and Martha Heger,Paulina and Adela Kubica,Albina Kubenka,Annie Hudec,Annie and Viola Cernoch,Edna Rerich and Martha Berger. Johnnie was a fine young man and among his playmates and associates at school,he was a general favorite.His death is sincerely deplored. Our heartfelt sympathy goes out to his bereaved ones.
