Hudec,who died at about 6:30 p.m. Wednesday,will be held tomorrow (Friday) at 9:15 at Hubbard Funeral Home,continuing with services at St. Michael's Church at 9:30. Rosary will be recited tonight at 8 o'clock in the Funeral Home. Celebrant of the Solemn Requiem High Mass was Rev.Thomas J. Flanagan.Deacon was Rev.Roman Janek,pastor at Ammannsville;Rev.Benton A. Thurmond,vicar substitute at Flatonia,was sub-deacon;Rev.Bernard Goebel,assistant at Moulton was master of ceremonies Msgr.A.F. Drozd presided, Mrs.Hudec died June 12 at the home of her oldest son Alphonse,of Weimar,after a lengthy illness.She had been seriously ill about three months. Born in Schulenburg Feb.16,1883,she was the daughter of Frank and Antonio Dworsky,she was married Jan.8,1907,at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Hallettsville to Mr.Hudec,and they settled on a farm near Weimar,when they retired from active farming a number of years ago,they continued to make their home here with their son,Alphonse,and daughter-in-law.Mr.Hudec died about a year ago. Mrs.Hudec was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church and had been a member of St. Ann's Society 30 years. Pallbearers were her nephews,Rudy Dworsky,Paul Dworsky,Herman Dworsky,Richard Dworsky,Alfred Halkenwelder and Rudy Gaertner. (condensed) Weimar Mercury,June 21,1957,page 1
