Bio
Ethel Morgan, 85, of 1422 31st Street died Friday, August 5, 1988 in a Wichita Falls hospital. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crestview Memorial Park with the Rev. Nettie Fuller, pastor of Midwestern Gospel Center, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Owens & Brumley Funeral Home. Ethel was born January 25, 1903, in Bokchito, Choctaw Nation, now Oklahoma to George Nuble Puckett and Mary Elizabeth Seago Cochnauer Puckett. She was a homemaker and a member of Midwestern Gospel Center. She had been a Wichita Falls resident since 1925. Ethel was preceded in death by her parents; daughter; Pansy Maxine Morgan Jackson, sons; Ishmael Bruce Morgan and Gerald Lee Morgan, half-sisters; Lulu E. Cochnauer Jarrel, Amanda J. Cochnauer, Ella E. Cochnauer Wall, and Ardmore Puckett: half-brothers; David Jasper Cochneuer, Nicholas F. Cochnauer, James H. Cochneuer, Marion M. Cochneuer, Clifton Puckett, Ernest Puckett and Troy Puckett. Survivors include three daughters, Shirley McCaffity, Patsy McCaffity and Mary James, all of Wichita Falls; a son, Nuble Jackson (N.J.) of Wichita Falls; 24 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
