Father: Andrew Jackson Morgan Mother: Ellen Houchin Rites Held for Ranch Worker Services for Shelby R. Morgan, 60, a resident of Wichita Falls for 37 years and an employee of the W. B. Hamilton Ranch for 35 years, were held at 4 p.m. Monday in Owens-Brumley Funeral Home chapel. Officiating was Mrs. F. F. Fuller, pastor of the Pentecostal Church of God, where Morgan was a member, and Rev. Edward Bowlen, a retired minister. Burial was in Crestview Memorial Park. Morgan made his home at 1422 Thirty-First Street. He died Sunday morning in a Wichita Falls hospital after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. He was born April 18, 1902, at Horseshoe Bend in Parker County. Survivors include his wife, Ethel; two sons, N.J. Morgan and Gerald Morgan, both of Wichita Falls; four daughters, Mrs. R.L. Jackson, Mrs. B.L. McCaffity, both of Wichita Falls, Mrs. R.R. McCaffity, National City, CA and Mrs. Hugh Anderson, Denver City, CO; four sisters, Mrs. T.D. Huns, Mrs. A. S. Rainey, both of Dallas, Mrs. D. T. Arbuckle of Wichita Falls, and Mrs. Willie Dean of Corpus Christi, TX and 21 grandchildren.
