Bio

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning, June 8, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, for Mrs. Antonette Reznicek, 71, lifetime Butler country resident, who died June 5, at the David City Hospital following a short illness. Officiating was the Rev. Geo R. Stoeckingerm and music was by the church choir. Pallbearers were Glen Hendrickson, Richard Styskal, Clarence Aden, Louis Vanous, William Riha and Raymond Riha. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Relatives coming from a distance to attend the services were from Callaway, Exeter, Osceola, Valley, Ogallala, Omaha, Milford, Clarkson, Columbus, Crete, and Lema and Washington DC, ans St. Louis, MO. Antonette Styskal, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anton Styskal, was born in David City on April 9, 1889. She was married at Appleton to John Reznicek and four daughters were born to this union. Mrs. Reznicek was employed as a practical nurse ans was a member of the Alter Society of St. Mary's church. At the time of her death, she was making her home with her sister Miss Frances Styskal. She was proceded in death by her husband, who died February 2, 1940. Survivors include her four daughters; Mrs. Magdalen Jensen, Columbus, NE; Mrs. Marcella Arlotta, Washington D.C., Mrs. Charlotte Van Moorleghem, Omaha, and Mrs. Sancy Krawjewski, Ogallala. 22 grnadchildren, seven brothers: Anton Styskal, David City, Joe Styskal, Phoenix, AZ, Frank Styskal, Exeter, NE, James Styskal, Gilroy, CA, John Styskal, Portland, OR, Louis Styskal, Valley, NE and Edward Styskal, St. Louis, MO. and two sisters, Frances Styskal, David City and Stacia Litty, Callaway.
