Bio
Funeral services were held April 13 at St. Mary's Church for Anton F. Styskal 79, who died at the COmmunity Rest Home April 10. Services were conducted by the Rev. Charles Kelliher and music was by St. Mary's Choir. Serving as Pallbearers were Donald and Robert Styskal, Joseph, Richard Humilicek, Marvin Stier and Raymond Riha. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mr. Styskal, son of Anton and Mary Styskal, was born June 5, 1881 at David City. He farmed in Butler County until his retirement. He was a member of the Catholic Church. He was married to Anna Machurek at David City. One son, Richard, was born to this union. He is survived by his son, Richard, of David City, six brothers; Joseph, Phoenix, Az, Frank, Exeter, James J., Gilroy, CA, John, Portland , OR, Louis J., Valley, and Edward E., St. Louis, MO. Two sisters, Miss Frances Styskal, David City and Mrs. Stacia Litty, Callaway and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife Anna on February 29, 1948.
