Obituary of Frances Styskal Funeral services for Miss Frances STyskal, 95, of David City, were conducted Tuesday morning, November 15, from St. Marys Catholic Church in David City. Miss Styskal, the daughter of Mr. Anton and Mary Riha Styskal, was born September 8, 1882, and died, November 12, 1977, at St Joseph's Villa in David City. Father Rudolph Oborny officiated at the services. William Ponec, Jr. was the commentator. Mass servers were Paul Fox, Chad Lyons, Steve Semin and Steve Fuxa. Mrs. Raymond Vanis was organist. Pallbearers were nephews, Elmer Styskal of Kearney, NE and Fred Styskal of Exeter, NE, Grandnephews, Donald and Robert Styskal of David City and James and Donald Van Moorleghem of Omaha. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Miss Styskal was a resident of Butler County most of her life. Survivers include a brother, Edward E. Styskal of David City; 10 nephews and 15 nieces; 32 grandnephews, 34 grandnieces; 36 great-grandnephews, 54 great-grandnieces; four great-greatgrandnephews and eight great-greatgrandnieces. She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary Shandera, Stacia Litty, and Antonette Reznicek; six brothers, Anton, Frank, Joe, James, John, and Louis; Five nephews, Richard Styskal, George, Joe, Gerald and Louis Shandera and one grand-nephew, Eddie Styskal. Relatives in attendance from a distance were Victor Shandera of San Diego, CA, Marcella Arlotta of Washington, D.C., Elmer Styskal of Kearney, William and Fred Styskal of Exeter, Mrs. Minnie Styskal of Fremont, Mrs. Magdalina Jensen, Mrs. Diana Bock and family, Mrs. Joyce Walton and family, and Ricky Styskal of Lincoln, Joe Styskal of Scottsbluff, Jim Styskal of Grant, Ted and Angie Trevethan of Kimball, Ed and Cecelia Rosenberry of Shelby, Glen and Celestine Hendrickson of Osceola, Bob and Wilma Shonka, Charlette, Jim, Don, Robert, Kay Van Moorleghem and Gina Izakatis of Omaha.
