COLUMBIA � Funeral services for Thomas Armster Butler, 93, of Columbia, were at 3 p.m. today at the Palestine Baptist Church at Vixon with the Rev. Charles Lutrick and the Rev. Lester Carpenter officiating. Burial was under the direction of Riser and Son Funeral Home of Columbia. Mr. Butler died Saturday at Haven Nursing Home here. Butler is survived by three sons, Howard Butler and Iva Lee Butler both of Columbia and Cecil Butler of Macon, Ga.; three daughters, Mrs. Bessie Mae Watts of Columbia, Mrs. Willie Mae Haddox of Alexandria, and Mrs. Ethel Faults of West Monroe; 13 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren.
