Gus Kahl, 80, passed away June 1, 1951 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born August 22, 1870 in Fayette County, Texas to Peter and Helena Berehns Kahl. He was a longtime resident of Wilbarger County. He was married to Anna Schuette January 2, 1895 in Fayette, Texas and she preceded him in death in 1937. He is survived by three sons, Irvin, Alfred and Lee Kahl and five daughters, Selma Koenning, Leona Hardison, Lena Streit, Hattie Sanders and Carrie Sanders and numerous grandchildren.
