Alfred Henry Kahl, 63, passed away September 16, 1968 in Vernon, Texas after a lengthy illness. He was born August 11, 1898 in Fayette County, Texas to Gus and Anna Schuette Kahl. He was one of 9 children. He married Jessie Scott. They lived and farmed in Wilbarger County. Alfred is survived by his wife of the home, one son, Jerry Kahl and three daughters, Norma Jean, Shirley Sue and Virginia Ann; also a number of brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews. Interment was in Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, Texas.
