Irvin Kahl passed away July 1977 in Cut Off, Louisiana. He was born to Gus and Anna Schuette Kahl in Lafayette County, Texas on October 24, 1896. He was one of 8 children. He married Tressie Dawson on October 12, 1919 in Wilbarger County, Texas. Their children were Charles, Marvin, Garland, Alene, Donald Gus and Clifford. He is survived by his wife Tressie Kahl of the home; sons Charles Kahl, Marvin Kahl, Garland Kalh and Clifford Kahl; daughter Aline Brunet; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.; sisters Lena Streit, Carrie Sanders, Hattie Sanders and Leona Hardison; brother Lee Kahl. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son Donald Gus Kahl; one brother Alfred Kahl and one sister Selma Koenning. He is buried in Eastview Cemetery in Vernon, Texas.
