Hattie Anna Kahl Sanders, 86, passed away in Lubbock, Texas on March 28, 1992. She was born in Shiner, Texas to Gus and Anna Schuette Kahl.She was one of 8 children. She married Ernest Sanders in Vernon, Texas on August 20, 1925. They were engaged in farming in the Lubbock area. She is survived by a daughter Bernice Mathis of Lubbock, Buford Sanders of Lamesa, Texas and Don Sanders of Farmington, New Mexico; 1 sister Carrie Sanders of San Antonio, Texas and one brother Lee Kahl of California. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest; her parents; brothers Alfred Kahl in 1968 and Irvin Kahl in 1977; sisters Lena Streit in 1986, Selma Koenning in 1973 and Leona Hardison in 1987.
