Selma Augusta Elise Kahl Koenning 72, passed away Aug. 25, 1973 in Plainview, Texas. She was born Sept. 5, 1900 in Shiner Texas to Gus and Anna Kahl. She married Willie Earnest Koenning and they farmed in Plainview. She is survived by sons Clarence Lonnie Koenning and Elmer Ray Koenning and one daughter Willie Mae McMurry; 5 grandchildren; 4 sisters Lena Streit, Carrie Sanders, Hattie Sanders and Leona Hardison and 2 brothers Irvin Kahl and Lee Kahl. Koenning. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one brother Alfred Kahl.
