Bio

Orem-Geneva Times, Orem, Utah, 07 Apr 1993 Keith V. Kofford of Pleasant Grove, Utah, died April 1, 1993 at the Utah Valley Regional Medical Center. He was born Jan. 16, 1918 in Orem, Utah to Clarence Lewis and LeNora Millett Kofford. He married Kirsten Jensen Feb. 16, 1951. They later divorced. He married Verna Sorensen Clement Sept. 2, 1967 in the Manti LDS Temple. He was an active member of the LDS Church holding the office of High Priest in the Grove Ward. He had served in Priesthood, MIA and Sunday School callings. He had worked in sealings in the Provo Temple. He served in the U.S. Army from 1940 to 1945. He was an employee of the Orem Post Office as a carrier and clerk, retiring in 1975 after 30 years of service. He attended schools in Orem graduating from Lincoln High School. He attended BYU for three years and the University of Nevada at Reno for a year. He is survived by his wife of Pleasant Grove; two sons and a daughter: Don Keith Kofford, Fruit Heights, Utah; Evan Jens Kofford, Salt Lake City, Utah; Benka Ella Kerby, Southgate, Michigan; seven granddaughters and a grandson; brothers and sisters: Beula Keetch, Midvale, Utah; Verl Kofford, American Fork, Utah; Nola Christensen, Richfield, Utah; Lyle Crandall and Lcnore Laudie, both of Orem, Utah; Rex Kofford, serving an LDS Mission in New York; ReNee Wiggins, Salt Lake City, Utah. A son, Tyler Vee Kofford, preceded him in death. Services were held Monday, April 5, in Pleasant Grove. Burial in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.
