Bio

Lenore Kofford Laudie of Orem died August 18, 2012 at home. She was born in Orem, April 8, 1923 to Clarence and Nora Millett Kofford, the 9th of 11 children. She received schooling in local schools and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1940. She worked in the Orem office of Utah Power and Light. Lenore was married to John Laudie by Elder Harold B. Lee in the Salt Lake Temple December 5, 1945. Lenore was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and faithfully fulfilled her callings in the ward and stake as a teacher, counselor, President in Relief Society, Young Women, and other auxiliary organizations. She was an ordinance worker in the Mt. Timpanogos Temple. She loved being a busy homemaker and spent time studying, sewing, and cutting hair for friends and family. She is survived by her six children John and Faye Laudie of American Fork; Val and Cynde Laudie of American Fork; Gaylen and Joy Laudie of Pleasant Grove; Kevin and Charotte Laudie of Mantua, Utah; Nina and Gale Johnson of Plano, Texas; and Kim and Betty Laudie of Orem. She is also survived by 30 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; her brother Rex and Alene Kofford of Colorado Springs; and sister-in-law Verna Kofford. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11:00 am in the Orem Windsor Fourth Ward Chapel, 1875 North 280 West, Orem. Family and friends may attend a viewing Thursday evening from 6-8 pm at Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove and at the church on Friday one hour prior to services.
