Gaylord Melvin Pilcher was a son of James Henry David PILCHER & Sarah Rebecca COURTNEY. Salina Journal November 19, 1980 GAYLORD M. PILCHER BENNINGTON - The funeral for Gaylord M. Pilcher, 79, Bennington, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at the United Church of Bennington, the Rev. Robert Frasier officiating. Burial will be in Glasco Cemetery. Mr. Pilcher died Tuesday. He was born July 30, 1901, in Glasco. Mr. Pilcher was a retired oil man. Surviving are his wife, Mildred, of the home; four sons, Norman, Woodward, Okla.; Norris, Salina; Arnold, Salina, and Rick, Bennington; three daughters Mrs. Lorena Whitney, Miltonvale; Mrs. Pauline Tompkins, Delphos, and Mrs. Gayle Francis, Salina; 20 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the Phelps Funeral Home in Miltonvale.
