From the March 31, 1992, edition of The Quad-City Times (Davenport, IA) James Malone DAVENPORT - Services for James B. Malone, 60, of 2036 49th St., will be 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Runge Mortuary. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park. Visitation will be 4-8 p.m. Wednesday. Mr. Malone died Monday at Mercy Hospital. He retired in 1986 was a federally licensed grain inspector after 34 years at Eastern Iowa Grain Inspection and Weighing Services of Davenport. He married Trenna Rochholz in 1955 in Iowa City. He served in the Marine Corps. He enjoyed traveling and his family. Memorials may be made to American Heart Association. Survivors include his wife; daughters, Wanda (Mrs. Steven) Cole, Irving, Texas; Cheryl Malone, Davenport; Nora (Mrs. Jeffry) Malone-Winters, Mount Pleasant, Iowa; and Sheila Malone, St. Edward, Neb.; a son, Rocky, Davenport; seven grandchildren; sisters, Helen Durand, Indianapolis; Marie Ziemba and Hazel Talmadge, both of Omaha, Neb.; Violet McDonnell, Clinton, Iowa; and Shirley Uva, of California; and brothers, Charles, Sun Valley, Calif.; Frank, Fayette, Iowa; and George and Richard, both of Bettendorf.
