Bio

Born the daughter of William Clayton Corbitt (1828 – 1903) and Martha Patsy Cassells/Castle Corbitt (1838 – 1870), she married in 1875 to George Washington Knight (1854 – 1881) and their children were Ambrose Franklin Knight (1873 – 1958), Martha P Knight (1874 – 1909), Cornelius Jefferson Knight (1876 – 1959), and Sarah Virgie Knight (1879 – 1909). Her headstone has the emblem of the Order of the Oddfellows and she and her husband lived in this area of Upshur and Wood Counties. Biography by Ron Wade
