Bio

Bonnie's parents were Toliver Watson Wallace and Eliza Jane (Rainey)Wallace. She married George Oliver (Bud) Dameron about 1907. She and Bud had two children, Jesse Toliver and Janie Sue. They lived first on Barnes Mill Road in Marietta, Cobb County, Georgia, and then in Gadsden, Etowah County, Alabama. Bonnie died of tuberculosis (age 33) at her home (1328 Chestnut Street, Gadsden). The Gadsden Daily Times, Monday afternoon, November 10, 1919 (Gadsden Public Library) "Mrs. Dameron Died Yesterday Mrs. Bonnie May Dameron died at her home in this city yesterday morning at 9:45 o'clock. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock and the burial will follow at Forest cemetery."
