On Double stone with Vince ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Mrs. Mary Marek, 88, of Axtell, died Saturday morning, August 30, 1980, in a Mart nursing home. Rosary was recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Littlepage Funeral Home Chapel in Mart, the Rev. Harry Pechacek officiating. Services were held at 2 p.m. Monday at the St. Joseph Catholic Church at Elk, Father John Herleden and the Rev. Harry Pechacek officiating. Burial followed in Pavelka Cemetery. Mrs. Marek had been married to Vince Marek. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Frank (Albina) Wiedemann of Tours and Mrs. J.T. (Pat) Marek of Lewisville; four sisters, Lydia Bandura of Long Beach, Calif., Bessie Krupa of Elk, Minnie Virgin of Fort Worth and Albina Farek of Elk; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
