Bio
Josephine Bordovsky, 82, of Elk, passed away Monday, Sept. 1, 2008, at a local hospital. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 4, at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Elk with the Monsignor Isadore Rozycki officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Rosary will be at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, at Bellmead Funeral Home. Josephine was born in Elk, Texas, to the late Fred and Mary (Peters) Pechacek. On December 29, 1946, she married Theodore Bordovsky in Tours, Texas. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Jennifer Bordovsky ; and sisters, Helen Hull and Hattie Schnecker. Survivors include her husband, Theodore Bordovsky, of Elk; daughter, Carolyn Gibson and husband, Gary, of Axtell; sons, David Bordovsky and wife, Rose, of Merkell, Terry Bordovsky and wife, Jeannie, of Red Oak, Weldon Bordovsky, of Richmond, Dennis Bordovsky, of Elk; grandchildren, Alexis Baker, Chad Bordovsky, James Engledow, Julie Engledow, Michael Bordovsky and Jason Bordovsky; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Elizabeth Coleman, of Elk, Rosalie Bordovsky, of Elk; and many nieces and nephews.
