Rites Held For Mrs. John Hejl Mrs. John (Sallie) Hejl, 77, of Ross died Friday evening in West Community Hospital. Rosary was recited at 8 p.m. Sunday at Kotch Funeral Home Chapel in West. Requiem mass was held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West, Rev. George Doskocil was celebrant. Burial was in St. Mary's Cemetery in West. Mrs. Hejl was born in Elk. She lived in West before moving to Ross about 40 years ago. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She married Mr. Hejl on July 26, 1921 at West. Survivors include her husband; one son, Bill Hejl of Ross; three daughters, Mrs. Rudy (Irene) Barton of Waco, Mrs. Eddie (Mary) Bezdek of Ross and Mrs. S.E. (Helen) McDonald of Edmonds, Wash.; five sisters, Mrs. Marek and Mrs. Bennie Krupa, both of Elk, Mrs. Albina Farek of Axtell, Mrs. Minnie Virgin of Fort Worth and Mrs. Lydia Wiley of Long Beach, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were Harry Pechacek, John King, Danny Barton, Paul Barton, Bill Hejl, Jr., and Ivan Joe Pechacek.
