Bio
Albina G. Wiedemann, 92, of New Boston, formerly of West, passed away Friday, Jan. 7, 2011, in New Boston. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, with the Rev. Ed Karasek as celebrant. Graveside services will be 11:45 a.m. Monday at Waco Memorial Park. A rosary will be recited 4 p.m. Sunday at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West by Janice Kaluza, with visitation to follow until 6 p.m. Albina was born in Elk, Texas, to the late Vince and Mary (Pechacek) Marek. She attended schools in Axtell and graduated from 4-C Business College in Waco. On February 3, 1948, she was united in marriage to Frank H. Wiedemann in Elk. Albina was a homemaker and worked at Lorch Manufacturing for over twenty years until her retirement in 1980. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church of the Assumption in West. She was also a member of St. Mary’s of the Cenacle Catholic Church in New Boston. Albina enjoyed crocheting, flowers, gardening, and working in the yard. She especially loved taking care of her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, on December 6, 1994; and all of her brothers and sisters. Survivors include son, Frank H. Wiedemann Jr. and wife, Donna, of New Boston; daughters: Gaynelle Hensley and husband, Walt, of Irving, Rebecca Wiedemann, of Waco, and Freda Allen and husband, Mike, of Chalk Bluff; grandchildren: Bram Zimmerman and wife, Jennifer, Angela Gordon, Jeremy Hanson and Laura Wiedemann; great-grandchildren: Riley, Taylor, and Gregg; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
