Their childern were: Mary Lou Keene, Ruby Jewell, Oscar Cleveland, Maudy Mae, Danzetta Keene. he Bonham Daily Favorite Bonham, Texas Tuesday, 08 Feb 1972, Page 2 Malcolm Keene Services to Be Held Wednesday Malcolm D. Keene, 73, of the Ivanhoe community, Ravenna, Rt. 1, died in a Bonham nursing home at 4:05 p. m. Monday, Feb. 7, 1972. He had been in declinging health for some time. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Wise Funeral Home chapel with the Rev. Bill Patterson and the Rev. Joe Eubanks officiating. Burial will be in the New Hope cemetery. Mr. Keene was born Feb. 12, 1898, at Ivanhoe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Samuel Price Keene. He was a retired carpenter. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Cora Bell Keene of the home; one son, Oscar Keene of Arcadia, four daughters, Mrs. Vernon Stephens and Mrs. Robert Helvey, both of Ivanhoe; Mrs. Woodrow McCraw of Bonham and Mrs. Billy Trusty of Leonard, two brothers, Willie Keene of Ivanhoe and Martin Keene of Bonham, one sister, Mrs. Ro Witten of Shawnee, Okla., 20 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Grandsons will serve as active pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dudley Jackson, Jack Jones, Howard Payne, Thomas Eller, Clovis Cummings and Almer Joe Stephens.
